This position demands a proactive approach to managing inventory, ensuring that raw materials and finished goods are accurately tracked, stored, and transported to their respective destinations. You will be responsible for operating various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery, to move goods efficiently and safely throughout the facility. Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment is essential, contributing to overall operational efficiency and safety. Your attention to detail will be critical in performing regular inventory counts and assisting with stocktaking processes. We are looking for individuals who understand the importance of accuracy in logistics and are committed to upholding high standards of performance. This role requires physical dexterity and the ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting . Adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of PPE is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse
- Assist with inventory management and stocktaking
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions
- Support receiving and shipping departments as needed
