We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders for shipment, playing a crucial part in our logistics and supply chain operations. You will work within a dynamic warehouse environment, utilizing scanning technology to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Safety is a core value, and strict adherence to all Safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. This position requires a good deal of physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of products up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order requirements for accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage picked orders for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform regular Lifting of products and materials.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned within the logistics department.
- Contribute to maintaining efficient workflow and inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Commitment to a Safe and productive work environment.
