Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against documentation.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders efficiently and precisely from warehouse shelves.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in inventory management tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to company guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with shipping operations, including staging and loading of outbound shipments.
- Perform tasks involving lifting and moving items, with weights often up to 45 pounds.
- Contribute to the overall effectiveness and smooth operation of our logistics hub.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Experience with warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics principles.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and utilize PPE.
