About
Our state-of-the-art distribution center in San Antonio, Texas, is looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our logistics team. This position is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications and then carefully packing them for safe transit. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Proficiency in using scanners and other warehouse equipment, coupled with adherence to all safety protocols, including PPE usage, is essential. Join us and become a vital part of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory according to pick lists or scanner data.
- Verify product details to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and assist in maintaining stock accuracy.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Must be able to perform lifting of products weighing up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in order picking or packing is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order details and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
