Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Material Handler for our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics processes, ensuring that materials are moved, organized, and tracked efficiently. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching materials, as well as operating material handling equipment. The ideal candidate is physically fit, possesses excellent attention to detail, and has a strong commitment to workplace Safety. We are looking for a proactive individual who can contribute to a productive and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unpack, and store incoming materials.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Verify the accuracy of received goods against shipping documents.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock checks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to Safety standards.
  • Operate all material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Mandatory use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Perform other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or logistics role preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability for consistent heavy Lifting, up to 60 lbs.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery is a significant advantage.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential.
