This position is vital to our outbound operations, ensuring that all orders are accurately prepared, processed, and dispatched to customers on time. You will be responsible for managing shipping documentation, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring that all shipments meet quality and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Inspect outgoing shipments for accuracy and proper packaging.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring they are secured.
- Maintain records of shipped items and forward tracking information.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory tasks and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and equipment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 35 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable standing, walking, and maneuvering in a warehouse environment.
