About
We are looking for a versatile and reliable Distribution Center Associate to join our expanding logistics hub in Provo, Utah. This dynamic role encompasses a variety of essential warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, possess strong organizational skills, and be committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Your contribution will be key to ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain and the satisfaction of our customers. Safety is our utmost priority; therefore, all associates must adhere to stringent safety protocols and consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires physical exertion, including regular lifting and movement of goods, so a good level of fitness is necessary. A working knowledge of logistics and warehouse management systems will be beneficial. Become a vital part of our logistics team and help us achieve operational excellence!
Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Utilize warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners safely and effectively.
- Ensure accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory handling.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and report any issues.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Be prepared for regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs and other physical demands of the role.
- Contribute positively to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or logistics environment is a significant advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and demanding setting.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting, standing, and moving throughout the shift.
- Dedication to following safety guidelines and using PPE correctly.
- Familiarity with basic logistics principles is helpful.
