About
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our thriving warehouse team in Austin, Texas. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive their correct orders accurately and on time. This position requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing customer orders using a scanner or pick list, ensuring that all items are handled with care. Your contribution is essential to the success of our logistics and fulfillment operations.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring items are protected during transit.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Stage orders for shipping, ensuring they are organized and ready for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stocktaking activities.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, packing, or warehouse operations preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting, up to 30 lbs frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes within our logistics network.
