Job Summary:
We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving the safe and efficient movement of goods. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, transporting inventory within the facility, and ensuring accurate stock placement. A strong understanding of forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and a commitment to safety are paramount. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, with the ability to perform tasks that may require occasional lifting of heavy items. We maintain a rigorous safety culture and expect all operators to strictly adhere to all company safety regulations and the proper use of PPE . Your contribution is vital to our logistics success.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate forklifts to move palletized materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Place and retrieve inventory from storage racks.
  • Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts.
  • Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and hazard-free.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety protocols and warehouse traffic rules.
  • Wear and maintain all required PPE , including safety shoes, vests, and gloves.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Report any equipment issues or safety concerns to management immediately.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification/license.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards and best practices.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving the maneuvering and lifting of palletized goods.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Willingness to adhere to all company policies, including the mandated use of PPE .
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
