About
We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our thriving warehouse in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within the warehouse. This includes operating forklifts and other equipment to load and unload trucks, transport goods to and from storage areas, and assist with inventory management. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are crucial for maintaining efficient logistics operations. This is a physically demanding role that requires reliability and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Keep the warehouse organized and clean, ensuring clear pathways.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with packing and staging of outgoing orders.
- Perform routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment.
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical activity and heavy Lifting, up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and wear required PPE.
This position is critical to our logistics infrastructure, ensuring the efficient handling of all materials. A strong focus on safety and efficiency is expected.
