We are looking for a highly efficient and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our thriving logistics team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your precision and speed are vital to our customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Receive picking lists and locate items in the warehouse accurately.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to fulfill orders.
- Retrieve and consolidate items for each order, ensuring correct quantities and product codes.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage picked orders for shipping.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing required PPE and practicing safe lifting.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory to a supervisor.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed for order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Proficiency in lifting up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all workplace guidelines, including PPE.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
