Weekend Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Long Term Care team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our Residents have clean and fresh laundry and facility laundry is washed daily . The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for handling laundry, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.

Responsibilities:

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and putting away clothing and facility linens.
• Sort and categorize laundry, ensuring that it is properly cleaned and maintained.
• Perform any other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience in laundry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to lift and carry laundry and dry cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
• Familiarity with long term care laundry procedures and equipment.
• Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $11.50 per hour
