Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Landscape Maintenance Crew Foreman to support our team and clients with day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering extraordinary customer service to all accounts and clients. Strong communication skills are essential to report discrepancies and outliers to management.
The Landscape Maintenance Crew Foreman is a working leadership position responsible for overseeing daily landscape maintenance operations while actively performing field work alongside the crew. This role ensures properties are maintained to Silver Lands' quality standards while promoting safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
The ideal candidate is an experienced landscape professional with strong leadership skills, the ability to manage crews, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesCrew Leadership & Operations
- Lead, supervise, and train landscape maintenance crews (Multiple routes -typically 3 Man Crew)
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Conduct daily tailgate safety meetings and enforce company safety policies
- Monitor crew performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training as needed
Landscape Maintenance Duties
- Perform and oversee routine maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, mulching, and general site cleanup
- Identify and correct landscape deficiencies to maintain property appearance and health
- Ensure proper care of turf, plants, shrubs, and trees based on seasonal needs
- Assist with irrigation inspections, minor irrigation repairs, and reporting issues to irrigation technicians
Quality Control & Client Service
- Ensure assigned properties meet contract specifications and client expectations
- Communicate professionally with clients, property managers, and supervisors
- Identify enhancement opportunities or maintenance concerns and report them promptly
Equipment & Vehicle Management
- Safely operate and oversee the use of landscape equipment and tools
- Ensure company vehicles, trailers, and equipment are properly maintained and clean
- Report equipment issues, damages, or maintenance needs
Reporting & Documentation
- Complete daily work reports, timekeeping, and job documentation accurately
- Communicate job progress, challenges, and needs to Operations Management
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of landscape maintenance experience, including crew leadership or lead role preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to lead by example with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish bilingual preferred but not required)
- Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
Physical & Working Conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat
- Exposure to landscaping tools, equipment, and chemicals
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Day shift
- Monday through Friday
- Overtime and occasional weekend work as required
