Inventory Control Specialist

Mustafaa's Hauling and Transport, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records across warehouse and transportation operations. This role is critical to ensuring inventory accuracy, material availability, and efficient support of hauling and logistics services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records for materials, equipment, parts, and supplies.
• Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Track inbound and outbound inventory movements and update inventory management systems.
• Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy and availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with replenishment planning.
• Prepare inventory reports and provide analysis to management.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory items.
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce inventory variances and losses.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support other warehouse and logistics functions as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as required.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
