Come join our amazing canine physical therapy practice with a collaborative and supportive team We are a 13 therapist practice located in Denver and Boulder, CO that specializes in mobility issues and pain management. Our Boulder practice is in need of a lead veterinary assistant or technician to join the team to maintain smooth operations throughout the day- greeting guests, scheduling, answering phones/texts/emails, invoicing, inventory, assisting in appointments with diagnostics and treatments, coordinating orthotic and wheelchair orders, filling medications, training future new hires, and maintaining organization/cleanliness are the main responsibilities. We are looking for a leader to join the team and help with the future growth to come at Walking Paws.

About Our Practice:

Our practice has an emphasis on thorough training. We provide additional services such as blood work, medications, radiographs, and diagnostic ultrasound. We perform many orthotics, prosthetics, and wheelchair fittings leading to a lot of heart warming cases. Our practice is very calm, luxurious, and peaceful. We emphasize quality of medicine and not quantity. Our day ends with feeling good about the quality time and care we are able to give to each patient. The Denver practice is about to move into a brand new location coming end of Jan/Feb and over the next year we will be hiring and training more doctors/assistants . Looking for someone that is excited to be apart of the growth of a brand new practice and wants to work up into more leadership roles.

We are only considering candidates who have a work history of more than 3 years at one business to ensure long term placement. We are hoping for a candidate that understands the importance of guest experience and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

Another very important aspect of the role is training new hires to come with the opening of a brand new location.

30 percent of your day may be assisting in diagnostics, treatments, and medication refills. You may assist doctors with diagnostics such as performing radiographs, handling for ultrasounds, and performing blood draws. Assist patients with performing exercises, hydrotherapy, laser, acupuncture, ultrasound, electrotherapy, shockwave, massage, stretches, bandage changes, wheelchair fittings, and performing fiberglass casts. Everyone on our team is cross trained to help each other out wherever it is needed, but this is primarily a fit for someone who would like to focus on maintaining smooth operations, leading, and training and doesn't require heavy patient handling in their day.

We like to ensure that whoever we hire it is the best fit for both parties. We do require spending some time at our practice to get a feel for how we operate and give you an opportunity to ask team members any questions.
