General Purpose:
The Recruiting Coordinator manages the full cycle recruitment process and logistics for all or subsets of the following groups: lateral attorneys, law students, summer clerks, paralegals, patent professionals, interns and tax or government specialists. This role serves all office locations and requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders to execute the recruiting strategy.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Candidate Sourcing & Evaluation
- Conduct initial resume reviews and candidate screening via phone or in-person interviews for all or subsets of the following groups: lateral attorneys, law students, summer clerks, paralegals, patent professionals, interns and tax or government specialists.
- Provide hiring recommendations for department leadership and hiring partners.
- Respond promptly to all applications and candidate inquiries about the firm and employment opportunities.
- Conduct reference and fact checks for all candidate types.
Interview Coordination & Logistics
- Coordinate interview participant schedules and finalize interview processes.
- Distribute interview schedules, calendar invitations, confirmation communications, and conduct opening/closing interviews and/or meet candidate upon arrival.
- Respond quickly to time-sensitive scheduling changes and urgent requests from interview participants and candidates.
- Distribute and collect post-interview evaluations; provide evaluation summaries to hiring partners.
- Maintain regular communication candidates during interview and consideration process.
Program Administration & Events
- Coordinate recruiting programs, including registrations, interviewer packets, and outreach.
- Plan and coordinate recruiting events with vendors, attorneys, and program participants.
- Participate in pre-recruiting events, networking opportunities, and employer expos.
- May collaborate with leadership to design and execute annual summer clerk and/or internship programs.
Strategic Support & Data Management
- Serve as member of recruiting-focused committees and assist with meeting preparation.
- Support leadership in developing recruiting strategies for community, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Monitor market trends and keeps department leadership apprised of trends on talent attraction, retention, and industry best practices.
- Manage recruitment data entry, generate reports/correspondence/schedules, track program expenses, and produce program-related materials.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Arrange travel and hotel accommodations for local and out-of-state candidates.
- Coordinate onboarding logistics among multiple administrative departments across all offices.
- Prepare and circulate reports, daily lists, and hiring announcements.
- Submit and process clearance and new hire paperwork for all hires.
- Perform additional duties and tasks assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to supporting the firm's overall objectives.

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Two (2) years of recruiting experience required. Experience within a law firm, law school, legal services industry, or professional services industry preferred.
- Event planning experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attitude.
- Independent thinker; ability to be flexible.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, particularly regarding interview scheduling.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Creative thinker with ability to use design programs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Quickly responds and adapts to time-sensitive scheduling changes and urgent attorney and/or candidate requests related to upcoming interviews.
- Experience coordinating programs for multi-office locations.
- Excellent computer and software skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook required.
- Preferred experience with viRecruit, viDesktop, FloRecruit, and UKG.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.

Schedule:
At this time this position allows for a hybrid schedule and in-office days are expected to be Mondays and Thursdays, with flexibility to switch days as needed with approval. Additional days in-office may be required depending on business need and the demands of specific tasks. The hybrid work structure may change at any time, including the number of in-office days requirement.
Compensation:
Holland & Hart offers of employment take into consideration a candidate's education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. The Colorado salary range is $22.42 to $37.37 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
