Job Overview
We are seeking a Part time day shift Housekeeping manager to walk with the client and help manage expectations. We have 15 locations in Ftwayne area, your job will be to walk each location 1x a week and manage up our business. Any issues report to us so we can have the evening manager address. Your leadership will drive efficiency, uphold safety protocols, and promote a positive team culture that emphasizes quality service and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, floor care routines, and maintenance procedures for all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
- Train team members on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, safety protocols, and hospitality standards
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens; place orders as needed to maintain operational efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives
- Promote a positive work environment by motivating staff, providing feedback, and fostering teamwork
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial supervision within the hospitality industry
- Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial practices
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest service expectations
- Experience managing teams in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Previous experience with hotel or institutional housekeeping operations is highly desirable
