What You'll Do Every Day
As a
Financial Advisor
, you'll step into an advisory role with real influence and opportunity to grow. Day-to-day, you'll:

• Serve as a co-advisor for established client relationships, helping deliver our proven, comprehensive planning approach with the support of our in-house technical specialists.
• Take the lead on routine and follow-up client interactions — answering questions, anticipating needs, and coordinating updates to keep clients' plans on track and ahead of life's changes.
• Identify and convert new opportunities to grow the firm's client base and your own book of business — turning your business development drive and network into meaningful results.
• Cultivate new relationships through personal prospecting, existing connections, referrals, and centers of influence — all supported by Savant's robust resources and team environment.
• Embody "The Savant Way" by delivering profitable, high-quality service that exceeds expectations, strengthens our brand, and helps our communities thrive.

A couple things to note about our Financial Advisor position:

• Candidates must live within commutable distance to our Bloomington, IL office and have flexibility to also support and travel to our Peoria, IL office.
• All candidates can expect to work in-office.
• Typical office hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, but due to the nature of the work, events may be after office hours, so flexibility in schedule is required
• All candidates must have their Series 65 and either have their CFP or be able to obtain it within 1 year of hire.

What You'll Bring To The Table
To thrive as a Financial Advisor at Savant, you'll bring:

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in an advisory support role, with demonstrated ability to develop and manage plans and manage client relationships
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; MBA (ideal)
• Clean U4 with no disclosures for those who are registered
• Certified Financial Planner certification highly preferred upon hire, or obtained within one year of date of hire
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, as well as financial planning and securities balancing software
• Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment and experience
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Client first attitude
• A team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others

We take a market-based approach to compensation. The expected base salary range for this role nationally is
$72,000 - $105,000.00.
F
inal base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. This role is also eligible for our advisory incentive program which is in addition to the base salary - typically an additional 10-20% of base salary, depending upon performance. Details of that program will be discussed at the time of interview. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits.
