We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. This position will be responsible to perform general accounting functions to meet operational and contractual requirements that support the on-going and effective management of various projects.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices for multiple currencies
• Prepares invoices for weekly payments
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintains historical records by filing documents
• Data entry using accounting software (SAGE- 300)

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or College degree in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred but not required
• Minimum 1 year of accounting or bookkeeping experience required
• Must be able to legally work in Canada
• Should understand accounting standards
• Knowledge and working experience with an accounting software, preferably SAGE-300 is an asset
• Data entry experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Deadline oriented, ability to multi-task and exceptionally strong organization skills

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
