Position Summary:

VSI is seeking a purpose-driven, compassionate Program Services Manager with strong operational business skills to lead our social service agency staff. The position is responsible for implementing CARF standards, conducting case record reviews, evaluating program quality, and supporting ongoing program development within VSI programs. This role also includes providing training and follow-up forprogramming staff to ensure consistent, High-quality service delivery.

In addition, the Program Services Manager will foster strong external customer service by building and maintaining positive relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other stakeholders. This role will work collaboratively with internal and external teams to ensure the employment goals of the individuals supported are met.

Responsibilities:

· Provides intake and admission screenings, completes the eligibility determination steps, and ensures timely referrals to appropriate internal and external programs.

· Assigns caseloads and related duties, and coordinates activities of programming staff in providing support services to assist consumers/employees with problems of an emergency or crisis nature.

· Reviews case records and evaluates the performance of staff members and recommends indicated action.

· Responsible for implementing and maintaining CARF Standards

· Participates in developing and implementing agency administrative policy.

· Supports consumers/employees individually or in groups on a planned or experimental basis and in emergencies.

· Trains new staff/employees in areas such as agency policy, department procedures, and agency or government regulations.

· Provides in-service training for experienced workers in areas such as new policies, procedures, and regulations.

· Represents agency in community or in interagency activities.

· Provides oversight for the exit/discharge process with exiting consumers, including follow-along case management.

· Responsible for the application and eligibility determination process for possible workshop employees.

· Responsible for developing and reporting quarterly outcome reports for the agency.

· Responsible for filling in for Program Supervisors when they are absent or are not able to fulfill their duties.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Masters's Degree in Social Service or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a similar management role within Social Service, Non-profit or Healthcare industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of CARF standards, regulations, and survey requirements.
  • Experience in CARF compliance efforts to ensure full alignment with CARF regulations and sustainable survey preparation.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures.
  • Ability to work professionally with sensitive, proprietary data & information while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels, both internal and external.
  • Exercises sound judgment in responding to inquiries; understands when to route inquiries to the next level.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and superior attention to detail.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
  • Capable of working within established policies, procedures and practices prescribed by the organization.

Education and/or Experience

A college degree (BA/ BS) in human services, programmatic services or a related field with two (2) years

Experience in case management and/ or in work-related program development and data collection is preferred; however, a High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of six (6) years of experience may be substituted. Work experience in a CARF-accredited facility, along with a thorough understanding of CARF requirements and the accreditation process, is strongly preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $44, $50,500.00 per year
