Duties

• Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines with precision and care.
• Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics and special materials like dry cleaning items.
• Perform cleaning tasks including folding, ironing, and organizing linens, towels, uniforms, and guest garments.
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing workstations and equipment to meet health standards.
• Assist with dry cleaning processes when applicable, ensuring garments are treated according to specific care instructions.
• Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed.
• Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or equipment malfunctions during laundry operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and stain removal techniques.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Good physical stamina; capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate loads.
