Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, sinks, and storage areas.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients.
• Support catering and banquet services by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation standards.
• Experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering operations.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures for commercial kitchens and equipment.
• Previous experience with bussing tables or supporting food preparation is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in fast-paced settings.
