What You'll Do
- Program CNC machines (mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment) using CAD/CAM software to support production needs.
- Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, quality, and cycle times.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Perform tooling selection, setup instructions, and process documentation.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and support continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment (preferred: metalworking, molds, or precision machining).
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
- Strong understanding of G-code, CNC operations, and machining practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a cross-functional team.
What Will Set You Apart
- Experience with multi-axis programming (4-axis or 5-axis).
- Knowledge of mold manufacturing or tire mold machining.
- Experience optimizing programs for efficiency and tool life.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 environments.
- Strong background in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization.
