Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labor - Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Warehouse Worker is responsible for pulling aluminum extrusions, panels, and hardware items from warehouse racks and preparing customer orders based on packing lists provided by the Team Leader. This role supports efficient warehouse operations by ensuring accurate order fulfillment, safe material handling, and a clean, organized work environment.

The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and familiarity with factory settings. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing processes and work with a variety of tools and equipment.

Duties

• Pull aluminum extrusions, panels, and hardware items according to packing lists.
• Accurately prepare and stage customer orders for pickup or loading.
• Assist customers directly with loading materials when required.
• Handle materials safely to prevent damage to products and injury.
• Maintain organized storage of inventory and materials within the warehouse
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations
• Ensure aisles are clear of plastic wrapping, cardboard, and debris.
• Perform general cleaning and upkeep of the warehouse area to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently
• Report any damaged materials, safety concerns, or inventory issues to the Team Leader.

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in manufacturing or factory settings
• Mechanical knowledge or background in manufacturing is beneficial
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment is advantageous

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday.
• Ability to lift and move panels and materials as required.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.

This role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working effectively within a team. Candidates should be prepared to support various operational tasks that contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing process.

Job Type: Temp-to-hire

Pay: $ $16.00 per hour
