Class A CDL Driver (Light Haul)

Position Summary
We're hiring a Class A CDL driver to run light haul operations using a 1-ton dually with a 40ft gooseneck trailer. This role requires someone who can work independently, handle their own loading and unloading, and take pride in securing loads correctly. When you're not on the road, expect to pitch in with general labor or shop/yard support.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 1-ton dually and gooseneck trailer to transport company equipment, tools, and materials.
• Load and unload equipment without assistance; ensure proper balance and securement.
• Maintain DOT-compliant load securement at all times.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance issues.
• Complete mileage, delivery, and equipment logs accurately.
• Work independently on hauling runs with minimal supervision.
• Assist with general labor, shop, or yard tasks when not hauling.

Requirements

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL license (no automatic restriction preferred).
• Proven experience hauling with a gooseneck trailer and securing loads.
• Ability to lift and maneuver some heavy equipment during loading/unloading. Willing to train.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass DOT screenings.
• Comfortable working alone and managing time efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oilfield hauling experience.
• Basic mechanical know-how for minor truck/trailer troubleshooting.
• Strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
