Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to work with children with autisim and their families at a state-of-the art bhavioral clinic. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working with pediatric populations. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through effective communication support and therapy.

This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Duties

  • Lead impactful and engaging 30-minute therapy sessions with children with Autism Spectrum D isorder.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators, physicians, and caregivers to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about speech development, therapy techniques, and home practice activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Currently licensed or eligible for licensure, as a Speech-Language Pathologist, in the state of Michigan.
  • 1 + years of prior experience working with pediatric populations.
  • Master's Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and interventions.
  • Experience conducting patient assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Knowledge of early intervention strategies for young children with speech or language delays.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases efficiently.
  • Passion for improving patient outcomes through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $110,000.00 per year
