Position Summary
The Curriculum Program Manager oversees and coordinates the development, translation, and publication of high-quality biblical education materials that are culturally relevant and theologically sound. This role ensures that English and translated courses are written and published according to BEE World's educational and structural standards. The Curriculum Program Manager directs the activities of course writers, publishers, and the translation manager, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with ministry goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Academic Services to establish curriculum development and translation goals, priorities, and timelines aligned with BEE World's strategic and ministry objectives.
- Manage and monitor project workflows in partnership with course publishers using BEE World's forecasting tool to track progress, deadlines, and resource allocation.
- Supervise and support the activities of course writers, course publishers, graphic designers, and the translation manager, ensuring adherence to educational and production standards.
- Review and approve final course production and translation deliverables to maintain theological accuracy, educational quality, and cultural relevance.
- Ensure version control and compliance for standardized curriculum materials across languages and formats.
- Oversee administrative processes such as documentation, reporting, and updates to forecasting tools.
- Train and guide course publishers in accordance with BEE World's Academic Services standards.
- Manage a section of the Academic Services departmental budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Assess and resolve project challenges using tact, diplomacy, and consensus-building.
- Participate in team & director staff meetings, training events, and conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3–5 years of experience in project management or related field.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple projects simultaneously.
- Skilled in version control and maintaining standardized curriculum compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence others.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and project management tools (or similar).
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and theological integrity of BEE World.
