Part-Time Buiding Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our team part-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. This role requires a proactive individual who takes pride in their work and has a strong commitment to quality cleaning standards. Must work every other weekend and be available for snow removal. Must also have a reliable vehicle to transport between three sites daily.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Maintain floors through regular cleaning and buffing to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
• Carry out custodial duties such as waste disposal and replenishing supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed to support overall facility upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning assignments efficiently.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
• Experience in floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing, is advantageous.
• A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions effectively are essential for success in this role.
