Amazon Web Services is seeking an exceptional Senior Solutions Architect to join our AGS Enterprise team, focusing on Semiconductor and Quantum Fabrication customers. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of technological innovation, working with customers who are shaping the future of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. You will be part of building a new practice from the ground up, helping our customers pioneer the next generation of quantum-ready semiconductor technologies.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will combine business acumen with deep technical expertise to architect solutions for complex customer challenges. Your responsibilities include:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to semiconductor and quantum fabrication customers, building relationships with senior leaders and influencing their long-term technology strategy
- Architect extensible, secure solutions for complex quantum computing and semiconductor workloads, leading technical discussions on design choices and best practices
- Work in ambiguous environments where business objectives aren't fully defined—driving clarity and progressing opportunities from platform adoption to solution wins
- Apply pragmatic judgment when advising customers on short- and long-term implications of architectural trade-offs
- Develop technical content including sample code, white papers, and workshops, while speaking at events with significant educational impact
Collaborate with AWS product teams to influence service roadmaps based on customer needs
Actively mentor other Solutions Architects and build consensus across diverse teams to deliver customer success

Basic Qualifications:
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Hands-on experience with quantum computing concepts, algorithms, or applications—you understand qubits, superposition, entanglement, and quantum error correction.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor design, fabrication processes, EDA workloads, or related technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AWS quantum computing services (Amazon Braket) or quantum computing platforms. Understanding of quantum algorithms, quantum simulation, or quantum optimization
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes, chip design, or quantum hardware development.
- Knowledge of AI/ML workloads, particularly as they relate to quantum computing applications.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
