Overview
We are seeking reliable, professional Security Guards to join our growing team. Guards play a vital role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, members, and visitors. This position requires attentiveness, good judgment, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively in any situation. We are looking for individuals with strong customer service skills and the ability to maintain their post when required.

This position is classified as an Independent Contractor role Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and will not be classified as W-2 employees. This role offers flexible scheduling opportunities based on client needs and availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly and monitor surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter unauthorized behavior or threats.
• Respond quickly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; use de-escalation techniques when needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including arming/disarming the security system and locking/unlocking facility doors.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential safety or security issues.
• Assist law enforcement when necessary and coordinate with off-duty officers for traffic control at events.
• Complete accurate reports and logs for any incidents or irregularities.
• Support loss prevention efforts by identifying and reporting any suspicious behavior or theft.

What We Expect

• You must be punctual, dependable, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to maintain post assignments as required.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and complete our required security training and test, before you can begin working, or be scheduled.

Job Details

• Flexible schedule with weekday and weekend shifts available.
• Shifts are offered by the manager based on availability and need.
• This is a 7-day-a-week operation.
• Holiday shifts are paid at time-and-a-half.
