Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with menu planning and ensure all dishes are presented beautifully and consistently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including food handling areas
• Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times
• Support catering events by preparing and serving food in accordance with event specifications
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and presentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Experience

• Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is preferred but not required
• Fine dining experience or restaurant background is highly desirable
• Strong food preparation and cooking skills, including knife techniques and meal assembly
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Experience in menu planning, catering, or food service environments is a plus
• Kitchen experience within the food industry that demonstrates reliability and culinary competence
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
