Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong office management skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various software tools. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily operations within a professional environment. Experience in Accounting and Tax Firms reception are a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where organizational skills and efficiency are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling appointment requests
  • Perform data entry, filing, and document proofreading to ensure accuracy and organization
  • Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other office management software for scheduling, correspondence, and record keeping
  • Handle calendar management, appointment scheduling, and coordinate meetings effectively
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and maintaining excellent phone etiquette
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software as needed
  • Support office management tasks such as supply ordering, document preparation, and record maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or related roles with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry skills
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or bookkeeping experience is preferred (we offer training)
  • Excellent communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service expertise
  • Strong typing speed and computer literacy for efficient task completion
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Previous experience in Accounting and tax Firms receptionist roles is a plus but not required
  • Personal assistant or office management experience will be considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Work Location: In person
