About

Our client in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex is seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will own end-to-end purchasing for indirect and non-merchandise categories. This role sits at the intersection of sourcing, vendor strategy, and operational execution—ensuring the right products are available, costs are controlled, and supply remains uninterrupted as the business scales.

This is an individual contributor role with high visibility and autonomy. You'll work closely with operations and cross-functional partners while collaborating alongside another supply chain leader to support enterprise-wide needs.

Responsiblities:

  • Own sourcing and procurement strategy for assigned indirect / non-food categories
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, pricing agreements, and contract renewals
  • Manage inventory planning across multiple distribution points to support field operations
  • Monitor supplier performance, market trends, and cost drivers to identify savings opportunities
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, and internal stakeholders to align purchasing with demand
  • Communicate product availability, pricing changes, and potential supply risks proactively
  • Support forecasting accuracy, process improvements, and purchasing efficiencies
  • Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and alternative sourcing

Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles
  • Hands-on experience with indirect or non-food categories strongly preferred
  • Track record of vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations or new location openings is a plus
  • Strong communicator who can manage priorities independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Highly organized, detail-driven, and comfortable owning processes end-to-end
  • Proven ability to build vendor relationships and negotiate favorable commercial terms
  • High integrity, accountability, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
