Join our dynamic automotive team as a Paint Body Worker - I, where you'll play a vital role in restoring vehicles to their optimal condition with precision and care. You will work closely with experienced technicians to learn the fundamentals of industrial truck restoration, ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, grinding, and cleaning using hand tools and power tools to ensure a smooth finish.
• Apply primer, paint, and clear coat using airless paint spraying equipment, maintaining consistent quality throughout each job.
• Perform minor auto body repairs such as dent removal, panel alignment, and filling to restore vehicle integrity.
• Assist with auto glass replacement and detailing to enhance vehicle appearance and safety.
• Use welding techniques to repair or replace damaged metal panels, ensuring structural stability.
• Conduct vehicle inspections for quality control, identifying areas needing additional work or touch-ups.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of power tools.

Qualifications

• Previous dealership experience or hands-on auto body repair training is highly desirable.
• Basic mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Familiarity with auto painting techniques including airless paint spraying and buffing.
• Experience with auto glass installation and detailing processes is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during vehicle repairs.
• Knowledge of auto estimating procedures and customer service skills are beneficial.
• Welding skills or mechanic experience will set candidates apart, demonstrating versatility in auto restoration tasks.
