Description du posteWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
What you're responsible for:
- Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor discrepancies, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions efficiently.
- Support payroll processing and tax compliance activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy in budget tracking and forecasting.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance
To join our team:
- A diploma or associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years in accounting or bookkeeping. Experience with specific accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or Xero) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with various departments
