About
We are a rapidly growing diagnostics company seeking an experienced Oncology Sales Specialist to lead commercial efforts across the Bay Area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology, molecular diagnostics, or laboratory sales, and a proven ability to drive territory growth and build lasting clinical relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of oncology diagnostic solutions to meet and exceed territory goals.
- Develop and implement a strategic territory plan focused on account growth and retention.
- Build relationships with oncologists, pathologists, clinical stakeholders, and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Educate physicians and healthcare professionals on diagnostic value, clinical utility, and appropriate patient identification.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (marketing, clinical, operations).
- Analyze market trends and competitive data to inform strategy and optimize territory performance.
- Manage contract discussions and implement service agreements (LSAs).
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in oncology, diagnostics, pathology, or related healthcare field.
- Strong understanding of oncology workflow, diagnostic sales cycles, and reimbursement models.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and territory management skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel overnight up to 75%.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling molecular or genomic diagnostic solutions.
- Existing relationships with oncology providers and institutions in the Bay Area.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with limited supervision.
