We are seeking a motivated Fulfillment Associate to join our busy team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is central to our e-commerce operations, involving the efficient and accurate handling of products from receipt to shipment. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and processing orders, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. A strong commitment to **safety** is essential, including adherence to all **PPE** requirements and safe **lifting** practices. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced **logistics** setting. You'll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently from warehouse inventory.
- Pack orders securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Process orders for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Assist with receiving and stocking incoming inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** guidelines, including proper **PPE** usage.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Contribute to team goals and efficient **logistics** operations.
- Practice safe **lifting** techniques to prevent injury.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability of **lifting** up to 40 lbs repetitively.
- Understanding of **safety** procedures and the importance of **PPE**.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with **logistics** or inventory systems is a plus.
