Are you an energetic and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role? We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker at our Durham, North Carolina facility. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in accurately selecting items for customer orders, ensuring that we meet fulfillment targets and maintain high customer satisfaction. This position is vital to our **logistics** network, requiring efficiency and precision. You will work with a dedicated team in a dynamic warehouse setting, contributing directly to the success of our operations. A focus on **Safety** and adherence to procedures is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or electronic devices.
- Pack selected items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Stage orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Operate order picking equipment, such as pallet jacks or RF scanners.
- Conduct inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area.
- Follow all **Safety** protocols, including the use of provided **PPE**.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed, including **Lifting** and moving products.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capacity for **Lifting** up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Commitment to **Safety** and proper handling of merchandise.
- Familiarity with general warehouse **logistics**.
- Must be a team player with good communication skills.
