About
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Sacramento, California. This role is crucial for the efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art distribution center. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting stock. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that materials are moved safely and efficiently to their designated areas. This includes receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations. You'll operate various material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts, depending on your training and certification. Adherence to all safety protocols and company policies is paramount. Strong physical stamina is required for this position, as significant Lifting of materials up to 50 lbs is a regular part of the job. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Conduct inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all Safety and PPE guidelines.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
