Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receiving Clerk in St. Louis, Missouri. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of all incoming shipments. Your duties will include receiving goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and properly documenting all received items. You will be responsible for accurately stocking received merchandise in designated warehouse locations. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining organized inventory records. Safety is a top priority, and you will be expected to follow all Safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE. While direct forklift operation may not be a primary duty, the ability to perform moderate Lifting and assist with moving stock is necessary. You will work closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure seamless receiving operations. Understanding our logistics flow is key to optimizing the inbound process. We are looking for a reliable individual with strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers a chance to contribute to the efficiency and accuracy of our supply chain operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload incoming freight.
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
  • Accurately enter receiving data into the inventory system.
  • Stage received goods for put-away.
  • Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  • Follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
  • Assist with basic material handling, including some Lifting.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or related field.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to Safety standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
