About
We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our growing warehouse team in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Order Picker, you will play a key role in our fulfillment operations by accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This position demands precision, speed, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. You will be responsible for using picking equipment, ensuring the integrity of picked items, and preparing them for the packing process. Your efforts directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the efficiency of our Logistics network. We require adherence to all Safety protocols and the use of appropriate PPE . The role involves considerable physical exertion, including frequent Lifting .
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order sheets or electronic devices.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage during the picking process.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other order-picking equipment safely.
- Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all housekeeping standards.
- Comply with all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Meet or exceed daily picking quotas and quality standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock put-away as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanning technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring significant movement and Lifting .
- Knowledge of and adherence to warehouse Safety best practices and proper PPE usage.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Experience in the Logistics sector is advantageous.
