Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create definitions of parts, modules, and assemblies in the form of 2D cross sections, 3D models, tolerance stack-ups, and various electronic data formats to support analysis, manufacturing, assembly, tooling, and inspection
- Includes direct people management responsibility including staffing and performance development. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market
- Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Product Definition. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions, driving meaningful change and improvements.
- In-depth knowledge of Power Generation Steam Turbine equipment and components, with experience in mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
- Prior experience in project management, leadership, and communication, with the ability to present effectively and influence in a matrix environment.
- Highly motivated and self-starting, capable of handling a diverse and challenging workload with flexibility.
- Experience with scheduling and managing a Union workforce,
- Knowledge of Lean skills and tools such as Standard Work, Daily Management, and Problem Solving.

Pay Transparency:
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is 98,400.00 - 164,000.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 10% annual performance incentive
