About
Join our expanding logistics operations as a Fulfillment Associate in Washington, D.C.! This role is key to ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for expertly picking items from our inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. A high level of accuracy and efficiency is required, as is a strong commitment to our safety standards, including the proper use of PPE. The position involves significant physical activity, such as standing, walking, and performing repetitive lifting throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using scanners and pick lists.
- Package a variety of items securely for safe transit.
- Verify product information and quantities against orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Strictly follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
- Perform regular lifting of packages up to 50 lbs.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks efficiently.
- Support inventory management tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet demanding fulfillment schedules.
- Assist in other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, e-commerce fulfillment, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a proactive approach to tasks.
- Experience with warehouse scanning technology is a plus.
- Physical capability to handle required lifting and manual tasks safely.
