Key responsibilities include utilizing scanning equipment, managing order pick lists, and maintaining an organized work area. You will need to be comfortable with manual tasks, including repetitive lifting, and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick items based on order requirements using handheld scanners.
- Package various products with appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Double-check order accuracy and item identification.
- Keep the picking and packing areas clean and orderly.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE at all times.
- Perform tasks requiring consistent lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Contribute to process improvements in the logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and lift for the duration of the shift.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player mentality.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and basic computer operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and efficiency.
- Excellent manual dexterity for packing.
