Are you a skilled Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in Virginia Beach, Virginia? We are hiring experienced professionals to join our logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently in a warehouse setting.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
- Perform pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
