Join our expanding logistics network as a Distribution Center Associate in our state-of-the-art facility located in Los Angeles, California. We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our distribution center. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that customer orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner, meeting our high standards of service. This role demands physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be expected to handle a variety of products, operate warehouse equipment safely, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. We emphasize teamwork and encourage a collaborative atmosphere where every associate plays a critical role in our success. Your contribution is vital to our logistics chain, ensuring that products reach their destinations without delay. Continuous training on safety procedures and the proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) is a core component of this role, ensuring the well-being of our associates. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling and staging.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities against manifests.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts, pallet jacks) safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, focusing on safety and efficiency.
- Utilize appropriate PPE at all times when required.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
