Join our fast-paced warehouse team in Washington, D.C., as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our ability to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating, picking, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that every order is handled with care and precision. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify picked items against order details to maintain accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.
- Utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.
- Be prepared for frequent lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
- Team-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
