This role is fundamental to our e-commerce operations, focusing on accurately picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. You'll be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their products quickly and correctly. We are looking for individuals who are energetic, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic logistics environment. Your primary responsibilities will include reading pick tickets, locating items in the warehouse, packing them securely for shipment, and preparing packages for dispatch. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace safety, and all associates are expected to follow established protocols, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Print shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain an organized and clean packing station.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Contribute to team goals for order fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Understand and follow general logistics procedures.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order forms and labels.
- Proficiency in basic math skills.
- Capability for lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods.
