Join our fast-paced logistics facility as an Order Picker in Nashville, Tennessee! We are looking for energetic individuals to accurately and efficiently pick items for customer orders. Your role will involve navigating the warehouse, selecting products from shelves, and preparing them for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to Safety. As an Order Picker, you are a vital link in our supply chain, ensuring that our customers receive the correct items in a timely manner. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing logistics operation and develop your skills in a rewarding environment. We emphasize proper Lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Verify product information and quantities.
- Consolidate and stage picked items for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as needed (training available).
- Report any damaged items or inventory discrepancies immediately.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capable of Lifting up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Basic math skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for our logistics flow.
