Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections on warehouse equipment, including conveyors, sorters, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  • Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with Safety regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Respond to equipment malfunctions and breakdowns promptly to minimize operational impact.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and tools required for maintenance.
  • Conduct safety audits of equipment and work areas.
  • Provide training to other staff on basic equipment operation and Safety procedures.
  • Ensure correct use of all required PPE during maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; relevant technical certifications or associate's degree preferred. Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician or similar role in an industrial or logistics environment. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) maintenance. Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including Lifting up to 50 pounds. Commitment to Safety and environmental standards is essential for this role.
